Engineering Division

Civil Engineering applies the physical laws and principles of the basic sciences in the design, development, modification, utilization, and construction of machines, materials, instruments, structures, processes, and systems to resist and harness the forces of nature and to improve the quality of life.

Technology Division

Technology is the collection of techniques, skills, methods, and processes used in the production of goods or services or in the accomplishment of objectives, such as scientific investigation.  Technology can be the knowledge of techniques, processes, and the like, or it can be embedded in machines which can be operated without detailed knowledge of their workings.

Construction Division

Construction is the process of constructing a building or infrastructure.  Construction differs from manufacturing in that manufacturing typically involves mass production of similar items without a designated purchaser, while construction typically takes place on location for a known client.  Construction as an industry comprises six (6) to nine (9) percent of the gross domestic product of developed countries.
